THE 14th annual Fullerton Host Lions FULLERTON CITY CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT HELD AT 6:30 ON FRIDAY, May 3,  AT MULTIPURPOSE ROOM OF THE LADERA VISTA JR. HIGH SCHOOL, 1700 E. WILSHIRE Ave.

As always, this is a grade level tournament (there will be a city champion for each grade), with three trophies awarded to the first three places in each grade. But there is also a "super-champion" section that gives all players, regardless of grade (but subject to meeting qualifications), a chance to compete with the very best student chess players in Fullerton for the title of 2019 FULLERTON CITY CHESS CHAMPION. .
